ABOUT

Maya Mueble is a socially conscious line of furniture and textiles, handmade in Guatemala and El Salvador. After living in El Salvador as an ex-pat for several years, Brian decided to explore opportunities to introduce handcrafted products created by enterprising artisans in Central America to other parts of the globe. By working directly with artisans we are able to integrate traditional techniques of the regions with modern designs and bring one-of-a-kind pieces from the artisans' and our workshop to your home.  These products also help artisans expand upon their skillsets and have financial resources to further develop their small business operations whether through equipment investment and employing additional help.

Furthermore, we are conscientious of environmental impact.  Therefore, we only procure raw materials that are sustainable or salvaged.
